2025 Annual Review

On Sunday, June 7, we hosted our annual member meeting. Approximately 45 members joined us to hear from our General Manager, who shared highlights from 2025, reviewed our financial performance, and discussed plans for the future.

Our bakery and deli catered the event this year, and the pizza was the clear crowd favorite.

One of the topics of greatest interest to members was our planned kitchen expansion. Many questions centered on the project’s progress and anticipated costs. We shared that we are currently still in escrow but are actively working behind the scenes to develop plans that will allow us to open the project for bids. Our current timeline estimates approximately 18 months to complete the work. While we sincerely hope the project can be finished sooner, we are remaining cautious given the current economic climate and the potential impact it may have on our plans.

We also discussed member loans. These loans provide a responsible, local investment opportunity for members while reducing our need for outside financing, helping keep control in the hands of the co-op’s owners. Member loans typically carry lower interest rates than traditional bank financing, which benefits the co-op. At the same time, members receive a modest return on their investment and the satisfaction of knowing their money is helping strengthen their community. We look forward to sharing more details about our member loan campaign as we move closer to launch. Thank you to everyone who attended our annual meeting. Your participation demonstrates the dedication of our membership and your commitment to Feather River’s continued success. We are grateful for your ongoing support and look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.
