Upcoming Events

This year’s Feather River Food Co-op Annual Meeting is gearing up to be a blast! We’re revamping the format and venue to be more action-packed and family-friendly ~ FRFC members are now encouraged to bring direct family household members to share in the 2024 Annual Meeting fun at a new location – Rugged Roots Farm!

Enjoy a Friday afternoon in the beautiful garden setting of the Lost Sierra Food Project’s grow-space. Learn about your community cooperative while snacking on yummy FRFC finger foods, visit the no-host bar with local beers and wine for purchase, or whet your whistle with free non-alcoholic beverages.

Local favorites NIGHTBRAIN will be the music-on-tap! Come on out, tap your feet, and enjoy the picturesque gardens with your friends and family.

Here’s what you can expect at the 2024 Annual Meeting:

FRFC Highlights – Reflecting on the past year – General Manager Marcie, outgoing Board President Scott, and I will be highlighting our collective accomplishments & milestones of 2023, at the oftentimes bittersweet intersection where principles, goals, and reality collide. We’ll discuss 2023 achievements, setbacks, and pleasant surprises.

Financial Transparency & Nurturing Growth – 2023 General Manager Report – Receive an overview of the FRFC’s financial health, hear about opportunities gained through sound and reasonable decision making, and get a glimpse of the longer-term strategies on the horizon. From supporting local farmers to advancing sustainability efforts, you’ll learn how our Co-Op embraces diversity within the 7 cooperative principles framework to stay competitive in today’s challenging climate.

Member Engagement – Your voice matters – FRFC firmly believes that our co-op’s strength lies in our members’ engagement. During the meeting, we encourage you to express ideas, ask questions, and provide feedback on the cooperative’s activities. As a member-owner, your opinion matters.

Food | Fun | Festivities – The more the merrier! – Diversity is at the heart of FRFC’s guiding mission. We ask that current member-owners encourage friends to JOIN NOW. It’s the perfect time since the Annual Meeting is right around the corner and only members + direct household family are guaranteed “a seat at the table”!

Membership: The Annual Meeting is the perfect opportunity to share in the spirit of community, gain deeper understanding of Why it Works, and to tend relationships both old and new. Your presence makes a difference! Together, we continue to nurture a strong and thriving cooperative.
