I am writing to formally declare my candidacy for the Board of Directors. As a Quincy resident and long-time member, I am eager to combine my financial expertise with my deep commitment to our mountain community’s wellbeing.
My life in Quincy revolves around the values the Co-op promotes. Whether focusing on fitness, spending time in nature, or preparing wholesome food, I believe access to high-quality, sustainable nutrition is the foundation of a healthy life. The Feather River Food Co-op is a vital resource that helps to sustain the physical and social health of our neighbors, and I am passionate about protecting the local food systems that serve us all.
Professionally, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from CSU Northridge with a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting. As a retired CPA with a career including roles as an auditor and Chief Accountant for a publicly traded company, I possess relevant experience in fiscal management, strategic planning, and operational oversight.
I believe my financial background will help to ensure the Co-op’s long-term viability as it navigates future growth. I am especially interested in guiding the Co-op through potential product expansions or new locations with fiscal responsibility and strategic foresight. I am dedicated to strengthening the Co-op as a cornerstone of health in Quincy.

As a 40+ year co-op customer and life-time member, I’ve witnessed the value our Feather River Food Co-operative brings to our mountain communities. I’m an avid co-op shopper and strongly believe in the importance of promoting and providing wholesome, healthful food and products to the shoppers of Plumas County.
